Can you give petit filous to babies

I gave DS1 petit filous from about 7 months of age and he loved them. They worked out to be quite expensive though and as someone said previously they do have lots of sugar in them. I'm not a complete sugar-free mum he does have the odd biccie etc but I didn't want to be giving them to him on a daily basis. So now I buy a big pot of plain Greek yoghurt and add fruit puree, banana etc and sweeten with a little honey for DS1 or maple syrup for DS2 and it seems to go down just as well.

Thanks Louise and Nikki for your help. I went and bought them yesterday so i will probably just use them anyway but at least i know for the future. He can't quite finish a whole one so I finish it for him - the strawberry and chamomile one is particularly yummy, I wish they came in bigger adult sizes! He ate about 3 times as much as normal and couldn't get enough! Little yeos organic yoghurts are really good as well, and I think no added sugar if you're worried about that.

Hi Yes petits filous are suitable for babies from 4 months but as far as I'm aware they are quite high in sugar.
