Leveling Guides: Asmodian Level 10 Note: If you reached level 9 before I did while following my guide, once you have completed the tasks in Pandaemonium please go back to the guide until you are caught up.
They provide a little bit of exp and kinah without much effort Talk to Grimheld. Finally Report back to Noah, then go speak to Daminu a very big tree in the forest, and go back to the village to speak to Kalion for your rewards. Optional Quest: The Nymph's Gown - The quest is trigger from a quest book drop from Grove Abex, double click to book to start the quest. The book drop pretty often you should do the quest.
Complete all the quest above, you should be level 6, if not just kill a few mob till you are. Once you have arrived at Akarios villiage, I suggest you get all you skill books for level 7, and restock on bandage if needed. The cube it self is located in a a small mining site middle North of the whole mine.
Tip 3: Once you are in Deforested Area doing part of Request of The Elim, most mobs are aggressive, they can be a little hard for a level 5 - 6 Assassin so be careful. Skill Tip: At level 5 you should have Hide I and CounterAttack, while against aggressive mobs many players I've seen likes to go into stealth mode go behind the mob and use Suprise Attack to begin. That is fine, but the cool down for Hide 1 Min, this will slow you down. Personally I prefer this over Hide and Surprise attack approach, but you can use both and alternate in between them.
At Melponeh's Campsite turn in any quest you have from before, and get started on 2 new missions, and 3 new quests. Take the solution given to you by Pernos and pour it into the Cauldron, report everything back to Tula, then to Kalion back at Akarious Village. Tip 1: You should have the title "Tree-Hugger" at this point use it.
To use titles push "P" by default and click the title tab in your character menu, under the title tab select the title you want in this case Tree-Hugger, and hit the Change Title button. Now you can do the above quest in any order you like but I suggest you do it my way to reduce running time going back and forth, of course you might or might not die, just do the best you can and keep yourself alive use heal potions.
Ok back to questing, first complete Thinning Out Worgs go back turn in the quest at Campsite and you should be level 7, if not again just get to level 7. Once you are level 7 get two new quests called: Tula's Music Box - Speak to Tula, gather 5 Iron Ore in the stripe mine which requires gathering level After you completed Mushroom Research, and Oz's Prayer, don't head back to the campsite and turn in the quests unless you die, instead head into Kabarah Strip Mine.
After all those quests are done head back to the campsite to update Illegal Logging and any quest you completed, then head back to Pernos in Agaric and obtain.
While you're at Agaric continue to work on the second part of Neutralization, at this point you should have done the first part of it by getting a sample of Cauldron to Pernos. Now go back to Strip Mine and complete any quests that requires you to go to the mine.
Once all quests are completed back to the campsite and get your rewards. Because there is a level cap, which means you cannot level past 10 till you have completed your Ascension quest. Also the amount of experience you get from the Ascension quest is the amount of exp require for the entire level 9 to level So because of the cap lock, any addition exp you gain after level 9 is wasted.
Now that your back at the village restock any supplies you need, and obtain the following new quests. Head to Timolia Mine and speak to Poa, then head deep into the mine till you reach the Abyss Gate room right at the entrance of the room speak to Ino. Destroy 3 power generators, and then the Abyss Gate, go back to the village and report to Kalion for your rewards. Delivering Perno's Robe - there are 3 different way to complete this quest with 3 different reward, you cannot get them all.
To get the Scar's fang you must go to Deforested Area which is on the way for our last part anyway and head South-East from the campsite until you reach a cave with a named Zaif "Scar the Alpha Zaif" is a mini boss mob, he hits pretty hard but you can solo him. To solo him as an Assassin, first get some healing potion, food to boost Attack, and have Minor Secret Remedy of Life read on your quick bar.
Any point during the battle if you need to heal, I suggest you use Secret Remedy of Life first because it's an instant HP heal and low cool down time.
However if his almost dead and you can take 2- 3 more hit use a regular potion you can buy at General goods shop.
Complete all the quest and you should belevel 9!! Tip 1: The mission Barring can be hard, if you find someone else doing the same mission there party up.
But if you can you can always stealth your way to the Abyss gate room, once you're in the room go left first to deactivate the green generator, than go to the right side to deactivate the blue generator. The Violet generator is right in front of the gate guarded by a level 10 boss mob. He hits really hard and is hard for a level 9 Assassin, but he can be solo I have done it just use the same method as Scar the Alpha Zaif expect you will need to use potions for sure.
Once you completed the Ascension quest don't forget to choose the path of an Assassin!!! Your now level 10!!! Do not worry once you port up to Sanctum, you're able to teleport back to Peota at any point to completed any quest you haven't yet. While you in your memory defeat 4 Draconute Assaulters, and kill Orissa, speak to Pernos again pick "Assassin", and your back in Poeta.
Note: you must complete this to move pass level The Unofficial Aion Assassin Guide players. Levels 1. I'm going to give you a basic outline as about which quests to look for and where to go.
Also, once you reach level 10 and arrive at Sanctum, you can pick up crafting professions. Each crafting profession has a quest and work orders. Whichever crafting profession you choose is fine, but I would recommend Tailor for your leather armors, and Weapon smith for your weapons. However, it is widely known that Handicraft makes the most money, and Alchemy and Cook are easy with an average income. I also want to mention that from here on, many quests are Gathering quests, which means that in order to complete those quests you are asked to gather a certain amount of materials.
If you decided to level up your gathering skill, then it will take longer for you to actually level, for obvious reasons. If you choose not to level up your gathering skill you can still do all of the quests, you will just have to purchase the items from other Once you are level 10 you should be at Sanctum, which is the capital city for Elyos.
Look around and get familiar with the city. Tip 1: Remember at level 10 you can purchase new skills. They are really useful so don't forget to get them from the Scout Master. Tip 3: You'll also have access to the Warehouse Bank. Store any materials that you don't need to use right now so you can free up spaces in your inventory. Tip 4: It is a good idea to expand your inventory slots, if you haven't yet. You can do that at the Cube Artisan in the Hall of Prosperity.
You pay a little bit to add 10 extra slots to your inventory space. You can expand your cube and warehouse space many times, however it'll cost more every time you do it. Tip 5: If you wish to upgrade any part of your armor or weapons, you can do it now. The Unofficial Aion Assassin Guide new equipment as well.
Trade Brokers are also located in the Hall of Prosperity, and every major city except Peota. It is a system that allows easy trading between players. Browse the market and find some new gear. NOTE: I don't recommend that you get any new gear until at least level If you do wish to purchase new gear at level 10, get the level 13 green gear, and not the level 7 gear. Tip 6: Do not bind in Sanctum. Missions: Dispatch to Veteron - Meet with Hyachinte in Veteron Finish all the above quests that can be fully completed in Sanctum, and then go ahead and work on Dispatch to Veteron, which will lead you to Veteron; the 2nd major mission town.
To get to Veteron just use the teleport. Once you turn in all of the quests and missions you have, start grabbing new quests because there are a ton of them. Note: The quest requires you to go to Peota. Once you reach level 11, there are two new quests in Veteron which you can pickup. At the same time, obtain the new quests from Gano and Ondanius.
So if you decide to work on your gather skill, gather those materials as much as possible until you no longer gain skills from them.
They are highly required crafting materials. Remember to soul bind here. At the village, turn in A Father's Letter quest from earlier and start grabbing new quest and missions. Abandoned Scarecrow - Find Nola the Scarecrow. Note: The barrel you're looking for is indicated by the blue quest arrow. It is located behind a burned-down farm shack by the lake. If you follow the path, it's on the left side; the barrel is guarded by a Peon and a Shaman.
Note: This mission can only be acquired after you have completed the Frillnceck Hunt mission Quests: The Writing on the Wall - In order to receive this quest, you must find the letter that is pinned on the wall by a dagger in Boss Cavil's House. Once you obtain the letter, double click to start the quest, then deliver the letter to Spatalos of Verteron. Belbua is Missing - Defeat the Lepharists and find a diary about Belbua.
If you're not 13 yet, do not get worried, just do the above quests and go back to the village and get them later. Ignore those quests for now and complete all the quests that take place in Tolbas Village.
Note: First this mission should not be done until you are at least level So I suggest that you do this quest when you are level 16 as it requires you to go to Sanctum. Though you would have to go to Sanctum at 16 anyway to grab your new skills. He doesn't have much HP, but unless you use your Slime Immunity Medicine, you'll only hit for 1 damage no matter which class and level you are.
I don't know how many times I died because I forgot to use it. The Unofficial Aion Assassin Guide might need to use them both. If you happen to die, and have used both medicines, then go back to Geolus again to get two more medicines; it'll be a long run though. To kill him you must start where he spawns. He spawns near the left entrance of Dukaki Mine, not the one straight from the bridge. Make a left after you cross the bridge.
However, complete them all and you should be around level At this point, head back to Tolbas Village and grab some new quests and missions. Also complete the mission Frillneck Hunt so you can obtain the Head Frillneck mission. Once you get the Odium double click to start the quest, and deliver the book to Leto in Tolbas Village.
At some point here, you'll have to return to Veteron to turn in some quests and restock on potions and stuff. As you run up the path to the Dukaki camp, there is a guard post right at the entrance. From there just jump off the cliff on the left side, and you'll find that the ring is right on the beach. The quest asks you to meet Anasia at Zunion Canyon. Do not fly there from Veteron because there is another quest on the way there. Down the path between Dukaki Mine and Zunion Canyon, you are going to walk past a little pond with a bunch of statues in it, and one of them has a blue arrow quest on him.
Headless Stone Statue - Find the Statue's head. His head is located in the water of the lower water pond area.
After you have completed this quest, continue on to meet up with Anasia. There should be another NPC that gives two gathering quests right before the bridge that gets you to Anasia. The NPC is an Abex and gives 2 gathering quests. So if you do want to work on your gathering skill, then do the quests: Pilgrim in Trouble - Once you've done all that, it's time to head to Pilgrim's Respite.
Tip 1: When you are overloaded with items and materials, it's a good idea to head back to town to clean up your inventory and restock any potions or Lesser Odella Powders. Tip 2: Most missions are continuous. Which means you must turn in the mission more than just once, so remember to go back and update them. Tip 3: You get new skills at level 13 and Whenever you can, go get the new skills at Sanctum. There is a small camp located right by the swamp with 2 guards who both have quests for you.
You can also turn in your quest, Arachna Antidote, from earlier. Once you have met up with Anasia, turn in the quests, and grab the following: Mysterious Stones - Soporific Mushroom - Slaying Slimes - Violent Plumas While you're working on some of these quests, you're going to run into Eninte.
The Unofficial Aion Assassin Guide game time. At the night game time her ghost appears and is a very aggressive mob.

Once you start the quest speak to Cerios, and then deliver the report to Hyacinthe back at Veteron.
Now that you are back in Veteron, at this point hopefully you are at level Note: Captain Kinsgreen is a level 20 boss mob. Along with him there are two other level 20 Shipwrecked Deckhands. To solo him here is what you do; first you must have a bow - if you don't have one, then go get one.

Once you hit her run back up the stairs and hit her again with an arrow, then run around the railing of the stair until Captain Kinsgreen and the other Deckhand lose their agro. Kill the single Deckhand, and repeat the process for the other one. Now Captain Kinsgreen is alone in the room; just Hide, then Surprise Attack him and take it from there. The Unofficial Aion Assassin Guide the battle, because he hits pretty hard. Quest: obtain. Note: do not go to Eltnen yet.

Once you have done all the quests, then head back to Veteron.
However they hit hard, which increases your down time; but if you have good armor and can kill them really quickly, then this is a great place to grind. It requires that you have a group to kill the elite mobs in Tursin outpost and Garrison. Those mobs cannot be fought solo at your level, since they hit hard and have lots of hp; they are designed for groups.
At this point hopefully you are level Veteron Reinforcement will send you to Sanctum. While you're there and since you are level 19, grab all your level 19 skill books, then head back to Veteron.

However, you do eventually have to complete these 3 group missions, because in order to obtain the final mission for Veteron you need to have completed all of the previous missions. Keep in mind that there are also 3 missions that require you to be in a group: Mark of Revenge, Held Sacred, and Krall Desecration. Also, go to Ellun River Mouth and grab the following quests: Tip 1: If you're not level 19 or 20 by now, please read the above recommended grinding areas and get to level However if you don't want to grind, you can always head to Theobomos, or Eltnen and do the level 19 quests.

To get to the Outer Dock, you must take an Airship. It is located in the middle part of Sanctum where it's marked as "Airship Dock.
The Unofficial Aion Assassin Guide that might want to kill you. Levels You're now level 20, and here is where the game really begins. Three more new zones have opened up to you; Eltnen, Theobomos, and Heiron. Once you have reached level 19 - 20 in Veteron, you're actually automatically given quests and missions that will direct you to Eltnen; which is the new major town. However, your experience in Eltnen will be very different than what you had previously in Veteron and Ishalgen.
Eltnen is the biggest zone you are going to come by for now, it covers the levels 20 - 40, and it is also your first PvPvE zone. What is a PvPvE zone? Well, in Eltnen you not only interact with the environment, you also have a chance to do PvP player versus player. In Eltnen, there is a system called Rift; Rift appears every 2 hours of game time, which is about 40 minutes in real time. There are always two rifts that appear at once in different areas of Eltnen, one rift allows you to travel to Asmodae to PvP or complete your Spy quests.
The other rift allows the Asmodians to come to Eltnen. So in Eltnen, you not only have to watch out for NPC mobs, but also other players Tip 1: There are restrictions on player level and number of uses for each rift; the rift closer to the town of Eltnen has a level cap of 30, and a usage of 16 which means 16 players can use the rift to go to Asmodae. The rift in higher level areas will have higher level caps and more usages.
Tip 2: Always bring a Kisk when you're planning to go rifting solo or with a group, if you don't have the money for a Kisk, make sure someone in your group has one. Once you rift over to Asmodae, in this case Morheim in particular, if you die you'll return to Morheim and probably will have to find another Rift - which are hard to find sometimes. With a Kisk, if you die you go right back to where you or your group placed the Kisk. Tip 3: If you're planning to go rifting be prepared, bring resurrection stones, potions, etc As there will also be more Asmodian in their own land than the number of people rifting there.
While Poeta and Veteron has pretty linear quests lines, once you reach level 20 the way you level will be very different. You'll be going back and forth between Sanctum, Theobomos, and Eltnen. When I was writing this part of the guide, I was thinking to myself about how can I make the best out of this guide. The Unofficial Aion Assassin Guide the truth is that if I just give a quest by quest guide line, I know you'll run out of quests by level 24 and then you will be stuck.
I'm going structure the guide by level, by what quests are available for that level, which quests I recommend doing, and where is the best place to level when you have no quests. Here I also want to include some general rules for those of you who wants to get to level 50 as fast as possible; for those who play casually just do what you can with the quests and have fun.
While I can't promise you that you'll get to level 50 in 3 days with this approach, I can say that I have personally reached level 30 twice as an Assassin in both Closed and Open Beta, and level 40 for Chinese Aion.
I have out leveled someone in my legion who was level 20 when I was level 4, and when I reached level 25, he was still only 24 - and he plays a good amount of time per day, too. Playing Time: it is important but it's only a part of how fast you can level; it really depends on what you do with the time.
I admit that I personally play a lot more than a handful of people, but you don't have to play all day long to level fast, you just need to know how to make the time you do spent on Aion count. So here is Rule 1: Do not waste time on things that don't help you level, for example pvp, rifting, crafting, dueling.
Rule 2: Only do quests that are your level or below your level. Rule 3: Know that questing is not always the best way to level, it can actually slow you down. Rule 4: When grinding after level 20, only grind on mobs that are your level, one level lower, or one lever higher than you.
Rule 5: Always have healing potions, and use Odella to heal. One of the biggest problems, is that when people are trying to level fast, they are experience-hungry. They exhaust all the quests they have and when they don't have any quests, they spend hours looking for new ones. If you finish all your quests and missions that are 5, 6 and 7 levels higher then you, then I assure you that you'll run out quests. Another thing that people tend to do wrong is they like to kill mobs that are 3 to 4 level higher than them so they can gain a lot of experience per kill.
The problem with that method is that mobs that are higher level than you will usually hit harder, and have a higher amount of HP so it will take longer to kill them.
